The 1996 Walt Disney World Easter Day Parade was broadcast by ABC on Easter Sunday, April 7th. The parade was hosted by Regis Philbin and Joan Lunden, joined by Walt Disney World Inside Out’s J.D. Roth and Brianne Leary. The show opens with a bunny hopping right down the middle of Main Street USA. Mary Poppins flies in for a musical medley with the chimney sweeps; then we are swept over to the new Disney Institute where JD Roth and Brianne Leary are standing by.

Let’s try something a little more exciting… we head over to the Contemporary where the Lawrence Brothers, from Brotherly Love, are jetting around Bay Lake in a Ski Ray. They split up and cover all three Disney water parks… Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, and River Country all while the Toy Story parade is taking over Disney MGM Studios.
