2015 Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade: Disneyland 60th, Reba, Ariana, and the Muppets & More

The 2015 Disney Parks Unforgettable Christmas Celebration honored Disneyland’s 60th Anniversary while spotlighting Walt Disney World’s festive spirit. From the very first note, this year’s parade was filled with unforgettable music, magical moments, and new and classic Disney characters.

Reba McEntire opened the broadcast from Cinderella Castle, adding her legendary voice to a warm holiday welcome. Meanwhile, Robin Roberts hosted the event with Jesse Palmer reporting live from Main Street, U.S.A. At the same time, Janel Parrish brought energy from the castle stage.

A Parade of Performances

The October 2015 release of We Love Disney inspired many performances. The result? A star-studded holiday lineup that blended Disney hits with Christmas cheer.

Ariana Grande delivered a powerful version of Zero to Hero from Hercules, right from the castle stage. Additionally, the musical celebration included standout performances from Tori Kelly, Seal, Andy Grammer, Charlie Puth, Jason Derulo, and Reba McEntire.

Naturally, The Muppets joined the fun, sharing their unique holiday charm with parade fans.

Holiday Stories and Heartfelt Surprises

Beyond music, this year’s special embraced the spirit of giving. Three real-life family stories unfolded live, each ending with a heartfelt surprise at a Disney Park. These emotional highlights reminded viewers what Disney magic is all about—bringing families together in unforgettable ways.

Other notable appearances added even more joy. Ginnifer Goodwin, the voice of Judy Hopps, dropped by with a holiday message. Dwayne Johnson, the future voice of Maui, made a surprise appearance, too. The stars of Disney Channel’s Descendants joined the lineup for a high-energy performance that delighted fans of all ages.
