A Patriotic Tradition at Walt Disney World
You can’t help but feel a little more patriotic when visiting Walt Disney World during a national holiday. Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and especially the Fourth of July each come with a touch of extra magic. From Muppet Vision 3D’s “tribute to all nations but mostly America” to the Hall of Presidents and Liberty Square, there are meaningful nods to the U.S.A. throughout the parks.

One of our must-do attractions during any patriotic celebration is the American Adventure at Epcot. And part of what makes that experience so moving is the incredible Voices of Liberty.
Voices of Liberty Take the Spotlight
As Disney describes them: “Costumed in finery from the 1800s, Voices of Liberty is an exceptionally talented choir of a cappella singers that perform in the pavilion rotunda throughout the day. This beloved 8-member group stirs hearts and lifts emotions with each performance—while the rotunda’s acoustically perfect dome amplifies and purifies the sound. You won’t believe your ears!”

While they usually perform indoors, the Fourth of July 2016 celebration brought them front and center at the American Gardens Theater. With Mickey, Donald, and Goofy joining the performance dressed in their fife and drum attire, this was no ordinary show.
A Fourth to Remember
This special outdoor performance of patriotic tunes added extra magic to the holiday atmosphere. The American Gardens Theater provided the perfect backdrop as the Voices of Liberty delivered a moving tribute to the United States—one filled with emotion, harmony, and unmistakable Disney charm.
The combination of world-class vocals, character appearances, and the setting sun over World Showcase Lagoon created a moment that felt both grand and intimate.
