Tinker Bell Takes Flight Through Disneyland

Just three years after Disneyland opened its gates, Walt Disney appointed Tinker Bell as a special hostess for An Adventure in the Magic Kingdom, a 1958 episode of The Magical World of Disney. This television special gave audiences at home a front-row seat to the magic unfolding at Walt’s park in Anaheim.

The episode begins with a studio party held in the newly constructed Holidayland, a short-lived picnic and recreation area adjacent to Disneyland. From there, Tinker Bell takes to the skies and flies the audience across the park for a full tour.
