As part of the Walt Disney World 50th, Anniversary Celebration Walt Disney World theme park icons are transformed into magnificent Beacons of Magic, coming to Life with their own EARidescent glow. Epcot’s Spaceship earth is among those Icons. As originally promised the Epcot lighting will continue beyond the 50th anniversary as a new defining feature of the park. That story continued with the Epcot International Festival of Arts 2022 and the introduction of “Rainbow Connection” a new lighting segment featuring the Iconic Muppet Movie theme complete with Kermit the frog, and Miss Piggy.
