After more than 50 visits to Walt Disney World, my wife and I finally embarked on a magical journey just for the two of us. Celebrating a milestone wedding anniversary, we embraced the Disney experience from an adults-only perspective. Instead of strollers and character meet-and-greets, our evenings now included signature cocktails and elegant dinners. And there’s no better place to begin such a celebration than Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.

Dining Like Royalty at Victoria & Albert’s
Described by Disney as the pinnacle of fine dining in the Southeast, Victoria & Albert’s delivers modern American cuisine using the finest ingredients from around the globe. Holding honors like AAA’s Five Diamond Award and a Forbes Four-Star rating, the restaurant evokes the elegance of another era with white-gloved service and unparalleled attention to detail.
Victoria and Albert’s: Queen Victoria Room: Course #3: Hot “Smoked” Niman Ranch Lamb with Fuji Apple and Curry Dressing
Although the Chef’s Table was fully booked (as expected for a last-minute trip), we were thrilled to reserve a table in the Queen Victoria Room, a lesser-known yet equally enchanting experience introduced in 2010.
Inside the Queen Victoria Room
This secluded dining area offers the most exclusive atmosphere within Victoria & Albert’s, with only four tables and Old World-inspired decor reminiscent of European grandeur. Here, diners enjoy French gueridon service—a tableside presentation and finishing technique that adds sophistication and entertainment to each course.
Victoria and Albert’s: Queen Victoria Room: Course #4: Fennel Pollen Crusted Diver Scallop in a Salt Bowl
We were presented with a personalized 10-course tasting menu and treated like royalty from the moment we sat down.
Highlights From the 10-Course Feast
Each course was as much a visual masterpiece as it was a culinary delight. Just a few of the standouts included:
Course #3: Hot “Smoked” Niman Ranch Lamb with Fuji Apple and Curry Dressing—a perfect blend of smoky richness and fruity acidity.
Course #6: Colorado Bison with Caraway Seed Vinaigrette—earthy, robust, and plated with precision.
From delicate amuse-bouche to rich, decadent desserts, the entire experience was meticulously curated and flawlessly executed. I captured as much of the journey on camera as possible and hope the video brings a small taste of the elegance to life.

Victoria and Albert’s has always looked like an amazing experience. I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to go but I love living vicariously through others who get to experience it!
We were lucky enough to dine at V&A pre-kids. It was an amazing meal and I loved how they were able to provide me with a customized vegetarian meal. James’ favorite Disney meal was from that night. Hopefully we’ll be able to make it back someday!
I wouldn’t even know how to eat that fancy food! Thanks so much for the very thorough look into Victoria & Albert’s!
Victoria and Alberts is way too fancy for my tastes. The food and atmosphere look fantastic and could be a great dining experience.

We have never eaten here. The food looks great and sounds like a great experience. I hope some day we can eat here!
This is on my bucket list. I was amazed at all the information you got throughout the meal. I have to ask did you have enough alone time too?
Absolutely Mary! The evening lasted over 3 hours… The video was only the highlights… Lots of time to enjoy the beautiful company!
