A Refreshing Stop at Club Cool
Since 2005, Club Cool had been a welcome distraction for Epcot guests, especially during the sweltering Florida summers. Located in Epcot’s Innoventions West near the Starbucks location, Club Cool offered exclusive Coca-Cola merchandise and complimentary samples of Coke products from around the world.

As guests approached World Showcase from Epcot’s main entrance, Club Cool was one of the final experiences in Innoventions West. The air-conditioned space provided a break from the heat, but more importantly, it offered a taste of global culture through the lens of Coca-Cola flavors. The experience echoed the spirit of World Showcase: sampling unique offerings from across the globe.
Flavors from Around the World
Each self-service station at Club Cool featured eight flavors representing countries like Italy, Greece, Thailand, Japan, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Peru, and Brazil. The drink lineup had recently been updated in early 2014, creating buzz among fans. Six new flavors joined two originals, including the infamous Beverly from Italy.

The 2014 Flavor Lineup:
- Italy: Beverly – Bitter, bold, and a challenge in itself.
- Greece: Pineapple Fanta – Sweet and citrusy.
- Thailand: Melon Frosty – Light and refreshing melon soda.
- Japan: VegitaBeta – A non-carbonated apricot and passion fruit blend, high in beta-carotene.
- South Africa: Bibo – A playful fruit juice line with cartoon branding.
- Zimbabwe: Sparberry – A creamy raspberry soda.
- Peru: Inca Kola – Bright yellow with a bubblegum-like taste.
- Brazil: Guarana Kuat – Sweet, berry-like guarana soda.
These flavors invited guests to taste their way around the world before even entering the World Showcase. Beverly, the intensely bitter aperitif, famously inspired the “Beverly Challenge” among Disney fans. How many shots could you endure?
Club Cool Origins & Rumors
Club Cool replaced the original Ice Station Cool and retained its role as a fun, flavorful oasis. The original lineup of flavors included options from Mozambique, Costa Rica, Israel, China, Mexico, Germany, and more. As time passed, rumors began circulating that Club Cool might evolve into a mini “World of Coca-Cola” museum similar to the one in Atlanta.

Whatever the future held, guests in 2015 were enjoying Club Cool while they could. Some hoped for the arrival of Coca-Cola Freestyle machines, while others simply crossed their fingers that free samples would remain.
If you’re an Epcot regular from the early 2010s, you probably remember Club Cool as more than just a soda stop. It was a cultural curiosity, a cool-down zone, and a quirky Epcot tradition.
Which flavor was your favorite? Or were you brave enough to conquer the Beverly Challenge?
