Festival of the Lion King | Animal Kingdom | Walt Disney World | Full Show | July 2022

The Festival of the Lion King is an Animal Kingdom Must for most, opening in 1998. The show was relocated from Camp Minnie-Mickey to an indoor seating location in Animal Kingdom’s Africa in 2014 to make way for Pandora the World of Avatar. The show isn’t a recreation of the movie but rather a celebration of the music and culture of the Lion King.

Post pandemic, the show returned as “A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King” a modified version, as of July 4^th 2022, the full performance is back.
