As part of the Imagineering Living Character Initiative, the Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure opened in January 2009, bringing an interactive spy mission to guests visiting Epcot. This innovative experience combined state-of-the-art technology with immersive storytelling, making it one of the most unique experiences in Disney Parks history.

The Mission Begins
Guests started their adventure at one of several recruiting stations throughout Epcot, including Innoventions and locations near Norway and the International Gateway. After checking in, guests received a Kimmunicator, a special device used to communicate with Wade, who guided them through their mission to stop Dr. Drakken, Shego, and other villains.
The game took players deeper into each country’s pavilion, unlocking hidden clues and special effects along the way. It was an incredible way to experience World Showcase, often leading guests into shops and gardens they might not have explored otherwise.
A Unique Disney Experience

What made the Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure stand out was its ability to engage both kids and adults. While younger guests loved the spy missions, parents could relax and enjoy the detailed theming of each country.
Many of the missions included practical effects, like triggering a hidden fountain, revealing secret doors, or activating animated figures that interacted with guests. This made each mission feel real and immersive, bringing the world of Kim Possible to life in a way no other attraction had before.

A Short-Lived but Beloved Attraction
Despite its popularity, the attraction closed on May 18, 2012, as Disney prepared for its successor, Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure, based on Phineas and Ferb. The transition allowed Disney to reuse much of the technology, but now featuring the beloved platypus spy, Perry (Agent P).

A Legacy of Interactive Fun
Though Kim Possible’s World Showcase Adventure is now part of Disney history, its legacy lives on through interactive storytelling in the parks. Today, new experiences have taken its place, continuing the tradition of engaging, immersive gameplay for Disney guests.
While the Kim Possible adventure is gone, the concept remains. Guests visiting Epcot today can check the My Disney Experience app for the latest interactive experiences available in World Showcase.
