This past fall, I was lucky enough to visit Disneyland, and Every September, the Disneyland Haunted Mansion is transformed into the Haunted Holiday.
From mid-September until early January, the Haunted Mansion is taken over by Jack Skellington and Friends. The holiday overlay blends the settings and characters of the original Haunted Mansion with those of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
The Haunted Mansion typically closes for two and half weeks in September so it can be converted into the Haunted Mansion Holiday. The overlaid attraction is then open to guests from late September through early January before being closed again during January so the overlay can be removed. The combination of Halloween/Christmas theme allows the overlay to run the full Halloween to Christmas season.
The Haunted Holiday overlay takes place every year at Disneyland (And Tokyo Disneyland)
You won’t find it in Walt Disney World!! It’s been around since 2001, on a recent trip I was able to visit Disneyland while the overlay was in place. Needless to say, it was quite a treat. (Now to visit closer to Christmas…  The Small World Holiday looks fabulous!!!!)
