A Secret Recharge Oasis in Storybook Circus
If you’re like me, your electronic devices are absolutely essential at Walt Disney World. Whether it’s capturing magical moments with your camera or managing Genie+ and dining reservations via smartphone, we rely heavily on our tech to enhance the park experience.
But keeping everything charged? That can be a challenge.
Sure, many guests head to the well-known Tangled-themed rest area, but there’s a lesser-known gem tucked away in Storybook Circus that’s even better—and way less crowded.
The Perfect Spot to Recharge Devices and Yourself
Located next to Pete’s Silly Sideshow and just behind Big Top Treats, this former FastPass distribution area (for Dumbo and the Barnstormer) is now one of the quietest corners in all of Magic Kingdom. Once FastPass machines were retired, this shady area became a true hidden treasure.
You’ll find outlets for charging, comfy couches, shaded seating, and easy access to Big Top Treats for a cold snack or drink. It’s the kind of place where both you and your devices can get a much-needed recharge. And it’s so low-traffic, you might forget you’re in one of the busiest theme parks on Earth.
A Rare Rest Stop
While this spot is sometimes used for character meet and greets during special events like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Very Merry Christmas Party, it’s typically wide open and quiet. That’s what makes it so perfect.
So next time your phone hits that dreaded 10% battery warning, head to Storybook Circus and find this charging oasis. Just do us a favor—keep it our little secret.
Very good to know! I must have walked right by it last time I was there. Thanks for sharing!
