It’s time to ring in the season, and there is no better way than with a Disneyland Christmas parade. A long list of Disney characters joins Santa for a merry musical celebration that’s headed straight down the middle of Main Street, USA. Complete with prancing reindeer, marching toy soldiers, dancing gingerbread cookies, and more. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Disneyland Park.
Disneyland Christmas Fantasy Parade – Reindeer and Santa
If you’re a Walt Disney World regular and new to Disneyland, there is one big difference with the parades. During Disneyland’s parades, there is a rather large break between parade segments. Believe it or not, it has to do with allowing people to “cross” the parade route at the front of Main Street. There isn’t much room between the entrance gate and the start of the parade; which makes for some waiting between parade segments.
The parade segments include:
Anna, Elsa, and Olaf bid you a warm winter welcome from their fantastic Frozen
Mickey and Minnie work with Chip ‘n Dale to organize an avalanche of letters to Santa.
Woody and Buzz give a playful wave from atop giant wooden building blocks.
The Disney Princesses dance and curtsy at the Candlelight Ball.
And, of course, Santa Claus rides high in his sleigh filled with presents and good cheer.
