A Pixar Concert Experience at Walt Disney World
The Music of Pixar LIVE! A Symphony of Characters was a limited-time concert event performed during the 2017 Summer Celebration at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Held in the Theater of the Stars on Sunset Boulevard (home to Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage), the show featured a live orchestra playing music from some of Pixar’s films, accompanied by video projections and surprise character appearances.
Each evening, after the final Beauty and the Beast performance, the theater transformed for three nightly showings of The Music of Pixar LIVE—typically at 5:00, 6:30, and 7:45 p.m.

Pixar’s Greatest Scores Performed Live
The experience featured musical selections from hit films like Toy Story, Cars, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, and Up. The orchestra’s live performance brought these classic scores to life in a way that was both emotional and immersive.
With large video screens (originally installed for Star Wars Weekends in 2015) displaying scenes from each film, the show perfectly matched iconic movie moments to the music. At times, it was easy to forget the music was live—so seamless was the performance.
