Woody’s Lunch Box Interview – A Taste of Andy’s Backyard
Toy Story Land is now open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and along with it comes a delicious new quick-service eatery: Woody’s Lunch Box. We had the chance to chat with Chef Robert Adams, who helped bring the playful menu to life on opening day.
During our Woody’s Lunch Box interview, Chef Robert walked us through the thought process behind the whimsical food offerings. He described Woody’s Lunch Box as “the food we wish our moms had packed in our lunch box growing up”—nostalgic, imaginative, and full of flavor.

Woody’s Lunch Box Menu Highlights
Chef Robert highlighted several standout items, starting with the BBQ Brisket Melt—a savory sandwich featuring sliced smoked brisket, pickles, tangy BBQ sauce, and melted cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses on grilled sourdough bread.
Next up was the creative Monte Cristo, Disney’s twist on the classic. This version layers smoked turkey breast, ham, Swiss cheese, Dijon mustard, and raspberry marmalade on custard-soaked brioche. Grilled to perfection, it quickly became a crowd favorite.
Chef Robert also raved about the Totchos—potato barrels loaded with beef and bean chili, shredded cheese, tomato-corn queso, sour cream, and green onions. It’s a comfort food fusion you won’t want to miss.
For dessert, he introduced the Lunch Box Tarts, house-made pastries in flavors like chocolate-hazelnut and raspberry. They’re warm, flaky, and the perfect sweet ending to any meal in Andy’s backyard.
