According to Michael Eisner, the annual Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade showcases the innovation and creativity that is the hallmark of the Disney Company…. pushing the boundaries of imagination, and bringing families together.  This year’s parade is hosted by Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa with Tom Bergeron and special guests Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy from Disneyland, where preparations are underway to celebrate Disneyland’s 50^th Anniversary.  Zach Braff, the voice of Chicken Little in the latest Disney animated feature, joins with a look at the latest film.

Kelly takes her family on the new Stitch Alien Encounter.  Kermit and Miss Piggy check in with Disneyland’s Christmas Fantasy Parade; Gonzo takes us on a look at the updates coming in Disneyland’s Tomorrowland, including an all-new Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear Astro Blaster, along with the new Dreams Come True Fireworks celebrating E-Ticket Attractions in the Sky. Eric Von Detten checks out Walt Disney World’s thrill rides: Mission Space & Test Track at Epcot and Rock & Roller Coaster & Tower of Terror at Disney MGM Studios.  Speaking of Disney MGM Studios, the Osborne Lights have relocated to New York Street, and the Disney Star and Motor Cars Parade is making an appearance at the Magic Kingdom this morning.

Bear from Bear in the Big Blue House is checking out the Magic Kingdom with his friends, including the New Mickey’s PhilharMagic, The Living Seas at Epcot, and a safari at Animal Kingdom.  Regis checks out Cirque Du Soleil at Downtown Disney and goes behind the scenes at a rehearsal.    Epcot celebrates Holidays Around the World with the Lights of Winter.  Special guest and Disney Legend Julie Andrews joins from Disneyland with a look at the 50^th Anniversary Celebration set for 2005, including the first look at the opening float and music for an all-new 50^th Anniversary Parade.  We also get a look inside Walt Disney Imagineering, including a first look at Expedition Everest coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom and the latest animatronic “Lucky the Dinosaur”.

Musical Guests include Mariah Carey, American Idol’s Diana DeGarmo, Disney Channel Stars: Raven-Symone, Christy Carlson Romano, and Bear from Bear in the Big Blue House.  Ashanti joins the celebration from Disneyland’s Christmas Fantasy Parade, and Kelly Clarkson is at Sleeping Beauty Castle. Also performing: Juanes, Wynonna, Jesse McCartney, and SHeDAISY.
