The grand opening of Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in July 2019 marked the completion of the resort’s stunning transformation. As the new main entry point for the property, the 15-story tower isn’t just impressive from the outside—its in-room experience also brings modern Disney magic to life in unexpected ways.

Inside the rooms, guests will find contemporary designs inspired by the Disney short “Destino,” a collaboration between Walt Disney and Salvador Dalí. The stylish aesthetic includes Spanish-influenced wall coverings, elegant finishes, and thoughtful nods to the surrealist animation throughout.
But the magic goes far beyond décor.
Each room in the tower features an interactive TV system that elevates your stay with personalized greetings, on-demand entertainment, and even the ability to view your Disney PhotoPass images. You can also stream content directly from your personal devices, making it easy to unwind after a long park day.

Tech-forward conveniences extend to the hallways, too. Gran Destino introduced a destination dispatch elevator system, one of the first at Walt Disney World. Instead of traditional buttons, guests select their floor on a touchscreen in the lobby, and the system assigns an elevator optimized for minimal stops—a small touch that makes a big difference.

For those looking for extra comfort and service, club-access rooms offer an elevated experience with personalized planning assistance. Along with light refreshments served throughout the day in the exclusive Chronos Club on the 15th floor.
From the immersive room design to high-tech amenities. The Gran Destino Tower in-room experience reflects Disney’s dedication to storytelling and guest comfort in every detail.
