Premiering on May 21, 2015, Disneyland Forever was a groundbreaking nighttime spectacular created for Disneyland’s 60th anniversary celebration. It became the first Disneyland fireworks show to use projection mapping throughout the park—turning buildings into living canvases of color, story, and song.

Immersive Technology Brings the Park to Life
Projection mapping was used on Sleeping Beauty Castle, the façade of It’s a Small World, and along the rooftops of Main Street. This revolutionary use of technology allowed Disney to “extend” the fireworks beyond the sky, wrapping the entire park in storytelling moments from Peter Pan, The Lion King, The Jungle Book, Frozen, and more.
Watching from both vantage points at once reveals how the projections were tailored to each location, offering guests a unique experience depending on where they stood.

Disneyland Forever features two original songs:
- “Live the Magic” – A celebratory theme song that sets the tone for the show’s adventure-filled journey.
- “A Kiss Goodnight” – A touching closing number written by Disney Legend Richard Sherman. Inspired by Walt Disney’s belief in ending every day with fireworks, it’s a heartfelt reminder of the dreams that built Disneyland.
