A Historic Milestone for Donald Duck

This special also holds a major place in Disney history as it marks the first time Tony Anselmo voiced Donald Duck, taking over from Clarence “Ducky” Nash, the original voice of Donald. Paul Frees provided the voice of Ludwig Von Drake and the Announcer, making this one of his final performances before his passing in November 1986.

  1. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for posting this!!! I have been searching for this for so long. My dad recorded it live for me on VHS and I watched it sooooo many times. It either got recorded OVER or lost, but I can’t put into words the rush of emotions and memories it brought back seeing it.
