A Magical Preview of the 2021 Holiday Season. It’s Christmas in July, and Walt Disney World is spreading festive cheer! Starting November 12, 2021, the holiday season starts across the resort—with new offerings, returning favorites, and extra magic to honor the 50th Anniversary Celebration.

Magic Kingdom Holiday Highlights
Main Street, U.S.A. will sparkle with garlands, lights, and seasonal decor. At night, Cinderella Castle will alternate between holiday projections and its 50th Anniversary Beacon of Magic glow.
Starting November 8, the all-new Disney Very Merriest After Hours event runs on select nights. This special-ticketed experience includes:
- Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks
- Seasonal treats (included!)
- Character sightings in holiday attire
- Holiday overlays and festive music
- More than 20 attractions with reduced wait times
Tickets go on sale in August, with early access for select Disney Resort guests.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios Celebrates the Season
Over at Hollywood Studios, Sunset Seasons Greetings transforms the Hollywood Tower Hotel into a magical display. Projection effects bring:
- Arendelle in snow
- A Muppet gingerbread house
- A Toy Story toy hotel
- A Dickens-style “Mickey’s Christmas Carol” village
Each version rotates with the nightly Beacon of Magic projection.
Plus:
- Santa Claus returns in his holiday motorcade
- Frozen Sing-Along Celebration gets a festive Olaf finale
- Minnie’s Holiday Dine returns at Hollywood & Vine
Animal Kingdom’s Natural Holiday Touches
Most nights, the Tree of Life becomes both a Beacon of Magic and the centerpiece of Tree of Life Awakenings: Holiday Edition. Keep an eye on Discovery River, where Disney characters sail past to festive tunes.
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays
From November 26 through December 30, EPCOT comes alive with:
- Holiday Kitchens across World Showcase
- The beloved Cookie Stroll
- Voices of Liberty performing seasonal favorites
