Walt Disney World’s Hall of Presidents is more than just an attraction—it’s a piece of American history with roots in Walt Disney’s original vision. First inspired by his work on Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln at the 1964 New York World’s Fair, the show has been a Magic Kingdom opening-day classic since 1971.

Joe Biden Joins the Legacy
In 2021, the attraction was updated again to include the 46th President of the United States, Joe Biden. The audio-animatronic figure of President Biden is now featured at the front of the presidential lineup, delivering the traditional Oath of Office.

A Presidential Tradition Continues
Adding the sitting U.S. President has become a long-standing tradition in the Hall of Presidents, continuing with this new version. The attraction now features:
- An updated narration
- A new film introduction celebrating the American presidency
- All 46 U.S. presidents represented on stage
This iteration also retains the 2021 lobby displays, which include artifacts and tributes to past presidents and a focus on the role of the presidency in American democracy.

A Historic Attraction with Modern Updates
The Hall of Presidents remains one of the few Walt Disney World attractions with direct ties to Walt Disney himself. Walt Disney envisioned it to inspire guests with the story of America’s founding and leadership.
If you’re curious about the 2017 version featuring the 45th president, Donald Trump, check out this blog post for additional history on how the attraction evolved in the last decade.
