Mariachi Cobre, the iconic group that has brought the sounds of Mexico to Disney parks for over 50 years, performed a vibrant set as part of the festival’s celebration of performing arts.
A Legacy of Live Music at Epcot

The group was founded in 1971 by Randy Carrillo, alongside his brother Steve Carrillo, Mack Ruiz, and musical arranger Frank Grijalva. Just a few years later, they played at Disneyland during a Cinco de Mayo celebration, setting the stage for a long and cherished Disney partnership.
Collaborations and Recordings
Over the years, Mariachi Cobre has collaborated with legendary artists such as Linda Ronstadt, Julio Iglesias, and Ana Gabriel. Their music has been featured in acclaimed albums like Mariachi Cobre, Este es Mi Mariachi, and their commemorative XXV Anniversary recording.
