Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park has always been home to great entertainment experiences at Walt Disney World Resort. With so much to do and see, you won’t want to miss a thing – and today, I have some updates to share about entertainment at the park.
First up, let’s look to the sky as some of our favorite Disney characters take flight in “Disney KiteTails.” Since its debut as part of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebration, this show has been delighting guests with a vibrant celebration of music, color, and kites – some as large as 30 feet long – depicting Simba, Baloo, and more!
In the Anandapur village of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you can once again discover exotic tunes that become increasingly mesmerizing, tranquil and stirring. The simmering sounds of traditional Indian melodies performed by Chakranadi on the sitar, a 19 sitar interment with moveable frets
The Viva Gaia Street Band is back at Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom. Dance to the island rhythms as this multi-cultural street band mixes it up with energetic melodies, vibrant masquerade costumes, and unstoppable dance moves for everyone. Located in Animal Kingdoms Discovery Island, Viva Gaia Street Band is sure to get you and your family moving.
Post pandemic, the show returned as “A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King” a modified version mindful of the continuing pandemic conditions at the time, Adjustments took place onstage and backstage, including updates to choreography and temporarily pausing some show elements to allow for appropriate physical distancing. Most notably, the tumble monkeys.
