A New Culinary Hub at Epcot
As part of Epcot’s ongoing transformation, Walt Disney World unveiled the Connections Café and Eatery, a spacious, quick-service dining location at the heart of the park. This new space combines Starbucks coffee with a diverse menu of global-inspired meals. It invites guests to relax, refuel, and recharge while exploring Epcot.
Imagineer Brianna Pfrot shared insights during our visit, offering a look behind the scenes. According to Brianna, Connections Café was designed to foster community and conversation. Its name is more than branding—it reflects the goal of bringing guests together through the universal language of food.
Art That Reflects Epcot’s Global Mission
One of the standout features inside Connections Eatery is the striking mural stretching over 160 feet of the back wall. This hand-painted work celebrates the cultivation of food around the globe, with visuals of farming, fishing, and baking practices from multiple cultures.
Imagineers carefully selected each element to represent the park’s technology, culture, and innovation blend. The artwork is visually impressive and emotionally resonant, tying into Epcot’s core theme of global unity.
Designed for Comfort and Connection
With an open floor plan and plenty of natural light, Connections Eatery features show kitchens, communal seating, and private nooks. This design encourages interaction, whether meeting new friends or enjoying a quiet meal with family.
Brianna emphasized that the location’s central placement was intentional. Guests traveling between Epcot’s neighborhoods—World Celebration, World Showcase, World Nature, and World Discovery—will find it a convenient stop.
What’s on the Menu?
The menu highlights a global selection of favorites with unique Disney twists. From French bistro burgers to Mediterranean salads and matcha-infused desserts, there’s something for every palate. And yes, Starbucks fans will be glad to find their favorite drinks on-site.
A Sign of More to Come
Connections Café and Eatery is more than just a place to eat—it symbolizes the park’s evolution. It supports Walt Disney’s original vision for Epcot as a place of innovation, international culture, and shared experiences.
