Halloween 2022 Disneyland Celebration Begins
Welcome, foolish mortals—Halloween Time has arrived at Disneyland Resort! From now through October 31, 2022, guests will discover spooktacular surprises around every corner of both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure.
Haunted Mansion Holiday Returns
One fan-favorite transformation is back—Haunted Mansion Holiday. Inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, this seasonal overlay includes a brand-new gingerbread house. Mischievous cookies crash Sandy Claws’ party in the ballroom scene, giving guests a delightful visual and aromatic treat.
Character Costumes Debut for 2022
This year, characters showcase their homemade Halloween costumes. Mickey Mouse sports a jack-o’-lantern look, Minnie transforms into a witch, and Donald Duck rocks a quirky candy corn ensemble. Catch Goofy as a haunted apple tree and Chip and Dale in seasonal gear—all unique to 2022.
Halloween Screams and Fireworks
Every night, guests can enjoy “Halloween Screams,” a projection show that lights up Sleeping Beauty Castle and Main Street, U.S.A. On weekends, the show features fireworks, viewable from several locations throughout the park.
Spooky Fun at Disney California Adventure
Radiator Springs becomes Radiator Screams! Mater and Lightning McQueen greet guests in “car-stumes,” and their attractions—Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree and Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween—get seasonal overlays. In Avengers Campus, Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark delivers thrilling drops with creepy creatures.
Celebrate Día de los Muertos at Plaza de la Familia
The award-winning film Coco is brought to life at Plaza de la Familia in Paradise Gardens. Enjoy Mariachi music, crafts, themed food, and the show “A Musical Celebration of Coco,” featuring Miguel and the song “Remember Me.”
