A Magical Milestone
It’s hard to believe it’s already been a year since Drawn to Life, presented by Cirque du Soleil and Disney, debuted at Disney Springs. The acclaimed live show, centered around animation, creativity, and family, celebrates its first anniversary—also known as its “paper” anniversary—with exciting updates for 2023.
What Makes Drawn to Life Unique
Set around a magical animator’s desk, the show follows a young girl uncovering her father’s unfinished sketchbook with the help of a magical pencil and a cast of colorful characters. The story blends Cirque du Soleil’s signature acrobatics and original music with beloved Disney animation in a theatrical celebration of imagination.
With an international cast of 68 artists from 19 countries, Drawn to Life brings together live music, breathtaking stunts, whimsical props, and heartfelt storytelling—all with a dash of Disney magic.

New Matinee Performances Starting January 8
Beginning January 8, 2023, Drawn to Life will add Sunday matinee performances to its regular weekly schedule. It’s the perfect opportunity for families looking to add a daytime show to their Disney Springs plans.
Cirque du Soleil’s Company Manager Heather Reilly reflected on the milestone. “One year and nearly 500 performances later, Drawn to Life has become a one-of-a-kind experience. Our cast, crew, and guests have all helped bring this show to life.”

A Celebration of Disney Storytelling
The production draws direct inspiration from 100 years of Walt Disney Animation Studios, honoring iconic characters, themes, and artistry. With choreography that wows and animation created just for this show. Drawn to Life delivers an experience that’s both nostalgic and refreshingly new.
