Now, with Avatar: The Way of Water in theaters, Disney Parks around the globe are celebrating in epic ways.

Walt Disney World Resort

At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, guests can witness a brand-new awakening sequence on the Tree of Life. Inspired by Avatar: The Way of Water, this limited-time show joins the Holiday Awakenings and Beacons of Magic, illuminating the park with the spirit of nature.

Over at Disney Springs, fans joined the excitement on opening night at AMC Disney Springs 24. Guests posed for photos with themed backdrops inspired by the film—and these backdrops remain on display for a limited time.

Disneyland Resort

On December 16, guests at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure received commemorative release-day pins for Avatar: The Way of Water. These special pins were available while supplies lasted, adding to the festive excitement

Tokyo Disney Resort

The celebration continues overseas at Tokyo DisneySea. In the Lost River Delta, guests can take photos with statues of Jake and Neytiri. Plus, the Yucatan Base Camp Grill serves a special dessert and drink inspired by Pandora. The blue vanilla mousse, matcha sponge cake, and fruity elements mirror the natural beauty of the Avatar world.

Nearby, the IKSPIARI shopping complex joins in with themed decorations that highlight Avatar: The Way of Water.

Shanghai Disney Resort

Shanghai Disney Resort hosted the China premiere of the film at the Walt Disney Grand Theater. Guests were treated to a castle projection and special fireworks spelling out “AVATAR.”

Tomorrowland at Shanghai Disneyland now features the AVATAR: Explore Pandora exhibit, the first of its kind at any Disney park. It invites fans to explore the science and magic of Pandora through immersive displays and educational elements.
