New Disney Touches Come to Magnolia Golf Course at Walt Disney World
If you enjoy playing golf at Walt Disney World Resort, get ready for a magical upgrade. Beginning December 12, 2022, the Magnolia Golf Course will reopen 14 of its redesigned holes, featuring brand-new Disney-inspired elements to elevate the experience.
Disney Stories on the Green
Each hole now carries a new Disney-themed name inspired by classic films. These names come paired with meaningful quotes from Walt Disney or legendary golfer Arnold Palmer. Hole No. 1 is called “Seize Your Moment,” a nod to Coco, with Palmer’s quote: “Putting is like wisdom – partly a natural gift and partly the accumulation of experience.” Hole No. 8, named “Adventure Is Out There,” references Up and features a quote from Walt himself: “I have been up against tough competition all my life. I wouldn’t know how to get along without it.”
Other holes celebrate favorites from Mary Poppins, The Lion King, Aladdin, and more. It’s a creative tribute to Disney’s storytelling legacy, adding an extra layer of fun for players of all ages.
A New Level of Practice
Beyond the course itself, golfers will also enjoy a larger, expanded practice putting green that includes a full 18-hole putting course. Designed with extra contours and scale, it provides a realistic and dynamic practice environment.
More Magic to Come
