The First Christmas Tree and the Nutcracker
Helga’s performance included the fascinating history of the first Christmas tree and the story of her very first Nutcracker. Through her storytelling, guests learned about the origins of many beloved holiday customs in Germany and how they have spread across the world.

This enchanting storytelling moment was part of Epcot’s Holidays Around the World, now known as the International Festival of the Holidays. Helga, like many of the Holiday Storytellers, brought cultural traditions to life in a way only Disney can.
