A New Adventure for the Legendary Archaeologist
Lucasfilm has released the teaser trailer and poster for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. The film marks the fifth installment in the beloved franchise. Harrison Ford returns as the legendary Indiana Jones. It is set to hit theaters on June 30, 2023.
A Stellar Cast Joins the Quest
Joining Ford are Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, and John Rhys-Davies. The cast also includes Shaunette Renee Wilson, Thomas Kretschmann, and Toby Jones. Rounding it out are Boyd Holbrook, Oliver Richters, Ethann Isidore, and Mads Mikkelsen. Waller-Bridge plays Helena, Indy’s goddaughter. Rhys-Davies returns as fan-favorite Sallah.

James Mangold directs the film. He’s known for Logan and Ford v Ferrari. He takes over for Steven Spielberg, who now serves as executive producer. George Lucas, another Disney Legend, also returns in a producing role. The film blends high-stakes thrills with emotional depth. It aims to honor the saga’s legacy.
The Sound of Adventure
Legendary composer John Williams scores the film. He has scored every Indiana Jones movie since Raiders of the Lost Ark in 1981. His music adds depth and nostalgia to this new journey. This may be Indy’s final adventure.
