With the new year quickly approaching, it’s time to mark your calendar for the 2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. Returning from January 13 to February 20, 2023, at Walt Disney World Resort, this festival is a global celebration of culinary, visual, and performing arts.
The festival promises an immersive experience with new artists and fan-favorite performers, offering artwork, live performances, and exciting Figment-inspired merchandise. Whether it’s visual art, unique cuisine, or Disney on Broadway concerts, this festival brings creativity to life in every corner of EPCOT.
Here’s a glimpse at some of the talented artists joining this year’s festival:
- Larissa Marantz – Illustrator, cartoonist, and educator creating visually alluring images.
- Yesenia Moises – Afro-Latina children’s book illustrator known for portraying diverse characters in fantasy adventures.
- Ryan Riller – Animator and illustrator, with work featured in Disney Junior’s Whisker Haven Tales.
- Joe Ledbetter – Renowned for his distinctive style in painting and vinyl toy design.
A special highlight this year is Kahran and Regis Bethencourt, the husband-and-wife team behind CreativeSoul Photography, whose thought-provoking work empowers children of color by showcasing their beauty and uniqueness.
In addition to these new talents, more than 100 Disney and visiting artists will participate in the festival, including fan favorites like Dylan Bonner, Fenway Fan, Jerrod Maruyama, and Ashley Taylor.
The work of Ryan Riller, an animator and illustrator, is featured in Disney Junior’s “Whisker Haven Tales.” Joe Ledbetter is known for his distinctive style in painting and vinyl toy design. He has created a spectacular cast of creatures used to anthropomorphize the human condition.
