Since January 20, 2023, Epcot’s parking lot has been divided into two exciting sections: Earth and Space. Each side features characters who represent the spirit of exploration, imagination, and wonder — perfectly fitting Epcot’s evolving theme.
On the Earth side, you’ll find Crush, Dory, HeiHei, and Moana. Meanwhile, the Space side celebrates Rocket, Gamora, WALL-E, and Eve. These updates celebrate the adventurous spirit that defines Epcot’s four neighborhoods and highlight stories where the real world and fantasy intertwine.
An Artistic Nod to Epcot’s Legacy
The new Epcot parking lot transformation doesn’t just bring fresh characters; it also reflects the park’s long-standing celebration of art and design.
The character graphics greeting guests were inspired by the artistic style seen on Epcot attraction posters—both classic and new. These murals use bold shapes, bright colors, and geometric patterns that feel right at home with Epcot’s legacy of murals, mosaics, and futuristic storytelling.

New Technology Helps Guests Find Their Cars
In addition to the visual upgrades, Disney introduced a new tool to make visits even easier. The Car Locator feature inside the My Disney Experience app now helps guests remember exactly where they parked, removing one of the day’s biggest potential hassles.
