Tiana’s dream restaurant is becoming reality in the heart of Disneyland. Just like in The Princess and the Frog, Tiana’s Palace is set to open its doors in New Orleans Square, reimagining the former French Market Restaurant.
Tiana’s Palace Brings New Orleans Flavor to Disneyland
Tiana’s Palace Disneyland will reflect the elegance and charm of Tiana herself, featuring signature peach walls, green wrought-iron balconies, and a warm atmosphere inspired by the film. This new quick-service dining location will feel like stepping into a scene from The Princess and the Frog.
A Fresh Menu Inspired by Tiana’s Culinary Journey
The new menu will honor the flavors of New Orleans, blending classic dishes with seasonal favorites. While it’s not a character dining location, guests may spot Tiana nearby, especially around New Orleans Square. Familiar favorites from French Market will return alongside exciting new offerings.
More Than a Restaurant – It’s a Story Experience
Tiana’s Palace Disneyland isn’t arriving alone. It joins Eudora’s Chic Boutique Featuring Tiana’s Gourmet Secrets and will soon welcome Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, a major new attraction. These experiences work together to deepen Princess Tiana’s story in the park.
Imagineering Brings the Film to Life
Disney Imagineers and the original Princess and the Frog animation team are collaborating to bring the vision of Tiana’s Palace to life. Interestingly, the original French Market Restaurant helped inspire the film’s version of Tiana’s Palace, making this project a true full-circle moment.
Opening Date and Renovation Timeline
To make way for the transformation, French Market Restaurant and Mint Julep Bar closed on February 17, 2023. They’ll reopen later this year with Mint Julep Bar still serving fan-favorites like mint juleps and Mickey beignets.
Tiana’s Palace Disneyland promises to be more than just a meal—it’s a celebration of food, family, and the magic of dreams coming true.
