Exciting news from the world of Disney and Make-A-Wish! Josh DโAmaro, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, has officially joined the national board of directors for Make-A-Wish America. Alongside Scooter Braun, CEO and board member of HYBE America.
Continuing a Legacy of Disney Magic
As Chairman, DโAmaro oversees Disneyโs six theme park-resort destinations across the United States, Europe, and Asia. Along with Disney Cruise Line, Disney Vacation Club, Adventures by Disney, and global consumer products. He leads more than 150,000 cast members worldwide.
Since Disney is the worldโs largest wish granter, DโAmaroโs appointment deepens the relationship between Disney and Make-A-Wish. The Walt Disney Company has granted more than 145,000 wishes worldwide since 1980. Josh continues Disneyโs legacy of supporting wish families through voluntary service on national, global, and chapter boards.

A Stronger Future for Wishes
Leslie Motter, President and CEO of Make-A-Wish America, praised the appointments of both DโAmaro and Braun, highlighting their hands-on experience with wish granting. โThrough their companies, theyโve both seen repeatedly that wishes can play an important part in the healing process, frequently serving as a turning point in a childโs medical journey.โ
The Make-A-Wish national board now includes 24 members with diverse backgrounds and expertise across business, finance, fundraising, marketing, operations, and more. By leveraging the talents of top leaders like DโAmaro, Make-A-Wish moves closer to its vision of granting the wish of every eligible child.
