The stars and stripes shine bright at Walt Disney World during the Fourth of July 2023 with patriotic entertainment, dazzling fireworks, and festive treats that reflect Walt Disney’s love for America. Across the resort, guests can enjoy red, white, and blue magic like never before.

Magic Kingdom Lights Up the Night
On July 3 and July 4 at 9:20 p.m., Magic Kingdom presents “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky.” This breathtaking fireworks spectacular features patriotic music synchronized with colorful bursts above Cinderella Castle. DJs keep the party going with dance tunes throughout the park until late into the night.
EPCOT Celebrates Freedom
EPCOT’s “EPCOT Forever” nighttime show receives a grand finale for Independence Day—“Heartbeat of Freedom”—on July 4 at 9:00 p.m. Guests can visit The American Adventure pavilion to enjoy live performances by Voices of Liberty, a cappella renditions of American classics, and character meet-and-greets with Mickey, Goofy, and Donald in their “Spirit of ’76” attire.
Resort Festivities and Electrical Water Pageant
Many Disney Resort hotels offer special Fourth of July activities, including campfire cookouts, poolside games, and Movies Under the Stars. On the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake, catch the Electrical Water Pageant, ending with a tribute to the American flag in sparkling lights.

Patriotic Bites and Sips
What’s a celebration without food? Look for special offerings like the Fourth of July Fruit Tart (June 27–July 4 at Contempo Café) and the Fourth of July Liege Waffle (July 4 only at Connections Café in EPCOT). You’ll find plenty more themed snacks at Disney Springs, Typhoon Lagoon, and resorts across property.

Celebrate America All Year Long
Walt Disney World honors American history every day:
- At Magic Kingdom, explore Liberty Square, visit the Hall of Presidents, and experience the Flag Retreat ceremony.
- On Main Street, U.S.A., meet the Dapper Dans and take in the nostalgic, small-town Americana vibe.
- In EPCOT, see The American Adventure show, narrated by Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain. It uses 35 Audio-Animatronics to tell pivotal moments in U.S. history.
