The Magic Happens Parade at Disneyland Resort is a high-energy celebration of Disney storytelling, part of the Disney100 Celebration. This whimsical procession brings to life magical moments from some of Disney and Pixar’s most iconic films. Mickey Mouse and his friends lead the parade, which is a joyful display of artistry, music, and imagination.
The “Magic Happens” parade will make its highly anticipated return to Disneyland Park in Anaheim, Calif. on Feb. 24, 2023, during The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary celebration at the Disneyland Resort. A Celebration of Disney Stories
Mickey Mouse takes the lead as the parade begins, waving his wand and setting the stage for a colorful cavalcade of floats and performers. The modern musical score blends upbeat rhythms with reimagined Disney classics, perfectly matching the energy of the performers and floats.
Watch in awe as Moana rides the crest of a magical wave in her voyager canoe, while nearby, Miguel from Coco strums his guitar, joined by Danté and a flurry of spirit animals.
Frozen, Classics, and a Grand Finale
Soon after, you’ll see the enchanted forest from Frozen 2 come to life with Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven. The stunning float captures the icy beauty of Arendelle’s magical woods.
The parade’s finale features beloved characters from classic Disney films. This breathtaking finale includes dazzling effects and elaborate costumes, celebrating everything from The Sword in the Stone to Cinderella, wrapping the show in a magical tribute to Disney’s century of wonder.

The Magic Happens Parade takes place at Disneyland Park and usually runs twice daily. Parade times may vary, so be sure to check the Disneyland app or official website during your visit for up-to-date information.
