Country Bear Jamboree Gets a New Act
During Destination D23, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro shared exciting updates coming to Magic Kingdom Park. One of the announcements was a reimagined Country Bear Jamboree. The bears will perform a brand-new show featuring Disney songs reinterpreted in various country music styles, such as rockabilly, bluegrass, and pop-country. Imagineers are collaborating with Nashville musicians to create an authentic country sound, paying homage to the Grand Ole Opry while keeping the show’s fun, friendly tone.
Hatbox Ghost Coming to Haunted Mansion
In late November, the legendary Hatbox Ghost will materialize inside the Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom. This iconic character will appear near the Endless Hallway, greeting passing Doom Buggies as he joins the Haunted Mansion’s spooky residents. Imagineer Daniel Joseph shared details about the Hatbox Ghost’s arrival during the Destination D23 presentation.
Pirates of the Caribbean Lounge Announced
A new Pirates of the Caribbean-themed lounge is coming to Adventureland at Magic Kingdom. This first-of-its-kind experience will extend the story of the popular attraction, offering guests a unique new space to enjoy themed drinks and immersive storytelling. Imagineers are currently designing the lounge, with more details to be announced in the future.
