This Friday the 13th, Disney+ and Hulu are giving audiences a chilling treat with the premiere of Goosebumps, a new series inspired by R.L. Stine’s bestselling books. Just in time for spooky season, the show debuts October 13 as part of Disney+’s “Hallowstream” and Hulu’s “Huluween” celebrations.
Goosebumps Premieres with Five Episodes
Get ready for thrills! The first five episodes of Goosebumps will drop at once on Disney+ and Hulu, with new episodes arriving weekly afterward. For even more excitement, the first two episodes will also air on Freeform’s “31 Nights of Halloween” event on October 13.
A Spooky Story Inspired by Five Classic Books
The ten-part series follows five high school students investigating a mysterious death from 30 years ago. As they explore Harold Biddle’s past, they uncover dark secrets about their families too. The series draws inspiration from five of R.L. Stine’s most popular books: Say Cheese and Die!, The Haunted Mask, The Cuckoo Clock of Doom, Go Eat Worms!, and Night of the Living Dummy.

Goosebumps stars Justin Long, Rachael Harris, Zack Morris, Isa Briones, Miles McKenna, Ana Yi Puig, and Will Price. Developed by Nicholas Stoller and Rob Letterman, the series is executive produced by Stoller, Letterman, and a talented team from Disney Branded Television and Sony Pictures Television.
