Jada Young and Raul Aquino Rojas Named Disneyland Resort Disney Ambassadors
Join us in welcoming and congratulating Jada Young and Raul Aquino Rojas as the 2024-2025 Disneyland Resort Disney Ambassadors! Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock announced their appointment on September 27, and family, friends, cast members, and past Disney Ambassadors celebrated it.
Jada and Raul will represent over 34,000 Disneyland Resort cast members, leading cast events, sharing the #DisneyCastLife story on social media, and representing the resort in media interviews. Their two-year term continues a tradition that began nearly 60 years ago with Walt Disney’s vision.
Meet Jada Young
A Long Beach, California native, Jada Young grew up surrounded by Disneyland magic. Her passion started with family park visits and performing with her middle school show choir at Disneyland’s Royal Theater in Fantasyland. Since joining Disney in 2017 at Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters in Cars Land. Jada has excelled in multiple leadership roles, including Core Lead, Trainer, and Youth Education Series facilitator. She played key roles in opening Avengers Campus and launching Disney100 celebrations.
Outside work, Jada enjoys film, live entertainment, volunteering with youth, and spending time by the ocean. Her application to the Disney Ambassador Program was inspired by her commitment to servant leadership and continuing Walt’s legacy of creating an inclusive space for all.
Meet Raul Aquino Rojas
Born in Zihuatanejo, Mexico and raised in Lynwood, California, Raul Aquino Rojas holds fond memories of watching Disney movies and visiting Disneyland for the first time at age seven. He began his Disney career in 2019 as a Disney PhotoPass Photographer. Today, he leads teams in Disney Photo Imaging and Guest Show Operations. Raul enjoys photography, writing, hiking, and camping, often capturing the beauty of nature.
Carrying Forward the Ambassador Legacy
With their selection as the 50th Disney Ambassador team at Disneyland Resort, Jada and Raul follow in the footsteps of Mark Everett King Jr. and Nataly Guzman Garcia, who now serve as their mentors. Mark encouraged them to be bold and creative, while Nataly reminded them to stay authentic and connected to cast members.
“Your impact will last for many,” Mark shared. “Push boundaries and have fun. The program is what you make it.”
Nataly added, “This is your time. Stay true to yourselves. Listen to your cast members. Grow every day.”
As they embraced at the end of the announcement, Jada and Raul stepped forward, ready to begin their journey as Disneyland Resort Disney Ambassadors. Continuing a cherished tradition of representing the heart of Disneyland.
