NASA Perseverance Display Now at Mission: SPACE
Guests visiting Mission: SPACE at Epcot will discover an exciting new addition created by Walt Disney Imagineering in collaboration with NASA’s Perseverance Mars Rover team. This impressive display brings the adventure of Mars exploration closer to home.
Authentic Rover Elements on Display
The new exhibit replicates the tread marks left by the Perseverance rover on the Martian surface. Disney artisans used a prototype rover wheel, on loan from NASA, to make authentic tracks. Guests can view these details while learning about the rover’s groundbreaking mission.
Celebrating Mars ExplorationIn addition to the tread marks, the display includes 3D-printed replicas of the rover’s surface collection tubes—used by Perseverance to gather samples for future return to Earth. This exhibit highlights the ongoing efforts of Mars exploration and invites guests to imagine what’s next.
