Big changes are coming to Disneyland Resort as Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel completes its transformation into Pixar Place Hotel, the first fully Pixar-themed hotel in the United States. Officially opening on January 30, 2024, the hotel will celebrate the creativity, color, and characters of Pixar Animation Studios.
Step Into the Animation Process in the Lobby
Guests entering the reimagined lobby will be greeted by a kinetic mobile of Pixar characters floating beneath a skylight, symbolizing the early stages of Pixar’s animation process. At the center, the iconic Pixar Lamp and Ball offer the perfect photo op. Guests will be surrounded by art and storyboards that showcase the journey from concept to film.
Inside the Reimagined Guest Rooms
Each guest room will be full of whimsical Pixar touches—from lighting inspired by the Pixar Lamp to Pixar Ball-themed pillows. Headboards will feature color-arranged concept art from films like The Incredibles and Toy Story 3, designed by Pixar artists specifically for the hotel. It’s a cozy, creative space designed to delight fans of all ages.
