On September 22, 2023, the Disney100 celebration at Walt Disney World reached new heights as Spaceship Earth illuminated the night with a brand-new lighting sequence at Epcot. As part of the ongoing festivities, this stunning display brought Peter Pan’s classic song “When You Wish Upon a Star” to life in a breathtaking nighttime spectacle.
A Night of Magic at Epcot
The Disney100 celebration at Epcot introduced several new experiences, including:
- Mickey & Minnie’s Disney100 meet and greet – featuring their dazzling anniversary outfits.
- New Food & Wine Festival kiosks – four fresh dining locations with limited-time flavors.
- Exclusive photo ops & collectible merchandise – including the coveted Disney100 popcorn bucket.
But the highlight of the evening was Spaceship Earth’s newest nighttime sequence, bringing a wave of nostalgia and magic to the park.
