It’s been an exhilarating year at Walt Disney World Resort as Animal Kingdom welcomed more than 300 baby animals in 2023. This impressive number includes aquatic creatures at The Seas with Nemo & Friends at Epcot, unique mammals, and over 150 birds. Each new birth plays an essential role in maintaining healthy animal populations and supporting global conservation efforts.

These births contribute to the Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ Species Survival Plan, helping to ensure the survival of endangered species. Guests visiting Animal Kingdom can now see many of these young animals making their on-stage debuts.
