A Global Celebration in Arendelle
Hong Kong Disneyland has officially opened World of Frozen, the first land themed to Disney’s Frozen. Among the first visitors were the newly selected 2024-2025 Disney Ambassadors. This milestone also marked the first time global Disney Ambassador training occurred outside the United States.
Training, Teamwork, and Disney Magic
Representing seven Disney destinations, the Ambassadors gathered in Hong Kong for training and a firsthand experience of the new land. Over the course of four days, they toured iconic attractions like Mystic Manor and Iron Man Experience. In addition, they joined Imagineers for detailed park walks and explored the stories behind World of Frozen.
They learned skills in media relations, communications planning, and social strategy. As a result, they were fully prepared to support the grand opening media event with confidence.
Highlights and Heartfelt Moments
The trip was packed with special experiences. For example, they watched the “Momentous” nighttime spectacular and met Disney leaders like Bob Iger, Josh D’Amaro, and Jennifer Lee. Each moment contributed to lasting memories. Disney Ambassador Dylan Rogers (Aulani) shared, “There were no dry eyes as we watched the beautiful projections and fireworks together.”
During the visit, Ambassadors presented signed “friendship flags” from their home resorts to Arendelle cast members. This thoughtful gesture symbolized global unity and goodwill. These flags will be on permanent display backstage at World of Frozen.
Looking Ahead
Although the Ambassadors officially begin their roles on January 1, 2024, they are already forming meaningful global connections. These bonds will shape their journey over the next two years.
With the opening of World of Frozen, Hong Kong Disneyland delivered a spectacular celebration. Ultimately, the land holds a special place in the hearts of cast members and Disney Ambassadors who took part in this historic moment.
