Across Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, and even the Disney Cruise Line, incredible creations are returning—and debuting—for the 2023 holiday season. From life-size houses to carousel horses and even lighthouses, these edible works of art are filled with detail, magic, and plenty of hidden Mickeys. Let’s take a tour of the festive fun!
Disneyland Resort Highlights
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa
Beginning Nov. 10, the lobby will once again be home to the “Grand” Gingerbread House. Standing 7 feet tall and 12 feet wide, the massive replica of the hotel includes over 600 pounds of gingerbread and features 25 hidden Mickeys.
Grand Californian Treats Include:
- Mickey Mouse-shaped Poinsettia and Gingerbread Cookies
- Holiday Cookie Box with assorted holiday favorites
- Kwanzaa Sweet Potato Loaf, Cinnamon Buns (new), and Hot Cocoa Cookies (new)
- Gingerbread Cookie Shots and Cookie Shots with liqueur or premium Cognac options
Haunted Mansion Holiday Gingerbread House
Inside Disneyland Park, Jack Skellington and his crew bring their twisted cheer to the Haunted Mansion Holiday. This year’s display features three moving elements and took 13 cast members over 20 days to complete. Don’t miss it before it vanishes on Jan. 8, 2024.
Walt Disney World Resort Highlights
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
From Nov. 8–Jan. 1, the life-sized Gingerbread House returns for its 24th year, crafted with more than 10,000 pieces of gingerbread and a chocolate Santa that weighs 85 lbs. Keep an eye out for the 24 hidden Mickeys.

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
Debuting in 2023, a gingerbread Lighthouse designed using real blueprints. Don’t miss the Lighthouse Fudge and other goodies at the Holiday Pop Up Shop.
Disney’s Beach Club Resort
This life-size Holiday Carousel inspired by DuckTales spins with characters themed after Donald and his nephews. Look for 22 hidden Mickeys and seasonal favorites like Peppermint Bark and Hot Chocolate Flights.
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn
From Nov. 17–Dec. 27, discover a mini version of the BoardWalk itself. Don’t leave without trying the Mickey Caramel Corn Cookie or Christmas Tree Pops.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
Visit Ginger the giraffe and Debra the baby zebra, standing 7 feet tall in Jambo House from Nov. 22–Dec. 31. Don’t miss the Gingeraffe Cookie and Hot Cocoa Flight.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Back for its 12th year, this Mary Blair-inspired castle stands over 17 feet tall and celebrates Disney100 with 4,000 gingerbread bricks. Try the Pistachio Linzer or the 5-Legged Goat Cookie.
The American Adventure at EPCOT
From Nov. 24–Dec. 30, see gingerbread monuments including the Lincoln Memorial, MLK Jr. Memorial, and The American Adventure building. There are six hidden Mickeys waiting to be found!
Disney Cruise Line
On the high seas, each Disney Cruise Line ship—including the Disney Wish, Fantasy, Dream, and Magic—features unique oversized gingerbread displays built by the ship’s pastry teams. Each one is a delicious masterpiece in its own right.
