The Hatbox Ghost first appeared at Disneyland Park’s Haunted Mansion in 1969. Though he vanished shortly after, he famously returned to the attraction in 2015. Until now, however, he had yet to haunt the Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom—making this materialization a moment long awaited by fans.
For those unacquainted with this reclusive resident, the Hatbox Ghost first appeared in the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland Park in 1969. In 2015, he reappeared in the attraction but had yet to show himself at the Magic Kingdom attraction — until now!
A Frighteningly Perfect Entrance
Guests can now find the Hatbox Ghost near the Endless Hallway, where he appears through a glowing cobalt blue door under the cover of night. His presence is marked by muddy footprints and a lantern-lit luggage cart stacked with hatboxes. With his signature disappearing head trick, he greets guests with a grim grin and a chilling sense of humor.
