1. Year-Round Disney Sailings from South Florida
Disney Cruise Line has officially opened its second year-round homeport in Florida at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale. Starting Nov. 20, 2023, the Disney Dream begins sailing from the new terminal, followed by the Disney Magic on May 9, 2024. Cruises will range from three to five nights, visiting tropical ports in The Bahamas and Caribbean.


2. A “Big Blue World” Embarkation Experience
Guests entering the terminal are immersed in scenes from Finding Nemo, with vibrant murals and bubble-inspired ceiling lights that capture the feeling of diving under the sea. Favorite characters like Dory, Marlin, and Nemo guide families toward boarding in classic Disney style.

3. Fort Lauderdale Combines Land and Sea Magic
Located just hours from Walt Disney World Resort, Port Everglades provides a perfect pairing for vacations that mix theme parks and cruising. Fort Lauderdale also boasts three nearby airports, sunny beaches, a thriving art scene, family-friendly attractions, and access to the Florida Everglades.

4. More Island Adventures Including Disney Lookout Cay
New itineraries include visits to Castaway Cay, Disney Cruise Line’s private island, and beginning in 2024, guests can sail to the all-new Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point in Eleuthera, The Bahamas. This destination was created in collaboration with Bahamian artists and celebrates the culture and natural beauty of the islands.

5. Giving Back to the Broward County Community
In celebration of the new terminal, Disney Cruise Line is partnering with Junior Achievement South Florida. Along with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, making donations that support youth education, innovation, and storytelling.
