In honor of Walt Disney’s birthday on December 5, EPCOT guests can now visit Dreamers Point, a new area in the heart of the World Celebration neighborhood, to reflect alongside Walt himself. This newly unveiled space features “Walt the Dreamer,” a statue that pays tribute to Walt during the later years of his life as he imagined what would become the Florida Project—and eventually, EPCOT.

A Tribute to Disney’s Original Dreamer
The Walt the Dreamer statue captures a moment of quiet fulfillment. Walt sits relaxed, gazing at the world he dreamed into reality. The location and design honor his legacy while inviting guests to pause, imagine, and celebrate the optimism that EPCOT represents.
This installation isn’t just about looking back—it’s also about looking forward. Walt envisioned EPCOT as a place of innovation, imagination, and possibility, and this statue reflects that spirit.
