Magic swept through Arendelle as fans from around the globe gathered to celebrate the grand opening of World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. This historic event took place just hours ago and marks the debut of the world’s first Frozen-themed land, officially opening its royal gates on November 20.

A Royal Celebration in Arendelle
The evening kicked off with a true “big celebration blowout” filled with surprise appearances from Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and Kristoff, dazzling fireworks, and an unforgettable drone spectacular. The opening ceremony unfolded in the center of Arendelle, hosted by Oaken and Kristoff alongside the Hong Kong Disneyland Ambassadors.

Joining in the celebration were several Disney leaders:
- Bob Iger, CEO of The Walt Disney Company
- Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences
- Michael Moriarty, Managing Director of Hong Kong Disneyland
- Alan Bergman, Co-Chairman of Disney Entertainment
- Jennifer Lee, Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios and writer/director of Frozen and Frozen 2

Bob Iger reflected on the franchise’s impact:
“Frozen is one of the most successful franchises in Disney history. It’s a testament to the power of great storytelling, which has defined The Walt Disney Company for 100 years—and will define our next 100.”
Josh D’Amaro added,
“World of Frozen is designed to transport you into another world. Every detail was created in collaboration with Jenn’s team at Disney Animation, and it’s built to create incredible memories with the people you love.”

Elsa’s Magic and Drone Spectacle
At the end of the ceremony, Elsa summoned Olaf, and Anna officially opened the gates of Arendelle to the world. Overhead, drones lit up the sky with snowflakes, characters, and symbols of Elsa’s ice magic, making it a truly unforgettable finale.

Cast Members Get a First Look
