As part of the 20th-anniversary celebration, 20 original cast members—who were there on opening day—were recognized for their two decades of legendary service. From day one, these team members have created unforgettable memories for guests while embracing the fun spirit of the resort.
“I have lots of energy and passion for Disney’s Pop Century Resort,” shared Claudia from Guest Services. “The past 20 years working here has been incredibly rewarding.”
That kind of passion is part of what makes Pop Century special. Cast members like Terri and Roselie reflected on their personal growth, sharing how they were able to explore multiple roles and develop their Disney careers without ever leaving the resort. Roselie even trained in merchandise, the arcade, and food & beverage on day one. Today, she works full-time in food & beverage, grateful for the mentorship and support of her leaders.
Evolution of a Fan-Favorite Resort
The resort itself continues to evolve. Guests can now enjoy the Disney Skyliner, connecting Pop Century directly to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Add in themed pools, oversized pop icons, and surprise appearances from beloved characters, and it’s easy to see why families keep coming back.
“Look at the atmosphere,” says Bob, a Front Desk cast member. “We have incredible theming and special Disney touches everywhere. The Skyliner is my favorite!”
