This fall, one of those questions gets a magical answer. Disney Live Entertainment is making a splash with The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure, an all-new theatrical production inspired by the beloved 1989 animated film.
A Whole New Undersea World
Set to debut in the newly refreshed Animation Courtyard theater, this Little Mermaid show invites audiences under the sea to experience Ariel’s journey to become part of the human world. This reimagined production brings new life to the timeless tale with bold visuals and innovative storytelling.
Guests can expect to be immersed in a world of stunning set pieces, cutting-edge effects, and a creative design that reflects Ariel’s unique view of the world above.
Musical Moments You Know and Love
The new Mermaid musical will include fan-favorite songs like “Part of Your World,” “Poor Unfortunate Souls,” and more. One exciting new addition is the “Kiss the Girl” scene, brought to life with new choreography, puppetry, and artistic flair, as revealed in the concept artwork.
Behind the Curtain
Construction is well underway inside the theater as Imagineers and show creators prepare for the big debut. This new production continues Disney’s investment in innovative, emotionally rich storytelling through live entertainment at Walt Disney World Resort.
